So here's the story:

I have been psyched to see Cowboys & Aliens since i first saw a trailer forever ago. But, of course, everything Western themed makes me immediately think of our crack-tastic adventures with our Oberon's Garden characters on DeviantArt, where we created a western story for them. Soooo I decided to redraw one of the C&A posters with W!OG characters :3 This of course got me thinking about how I'd love to draw ALL of the characters on movie-style posters. This meant I had to pick a name for it. So I chose the name Ganny used in his little fic in the Western Crack folder of the OG group

I will also be doing another poster with Flume and Smarmadine, because you can't have Cowboys & Aliens without aliens :3

I spent a large amount of last night trying to figure out what to say that would convey how in love I am with this beautiful work, but I think all I figured out is that no words I could say would even come close. However, I still want to tell you that this is absolutely beautiful. The composition of this is amazing, and I feel like I could touch the characters with how you use shading just to make them pop out at you- especially on Junus' face and Moscorn's limbs. Speaking of Moscorn's limbs, I particularly love the way his legs twist and how the lighting over them twists with it. I'm also fascinated with your mastery over Junus' skin pigment (or lack thereof), I think recently even I have just started to understand how that works and how to draw it, but you're one of the people who get it dead on.

This really is gorgeous, and I'm so glad I'm able to see it. I love it.

How can you take characters as badass as Sheriff Junus and Deputy Moscorn and make them MORE badass!? You, good sir, have a gift. I love this, especially the shading on Moscorn and the oooominous lighting.
